We recently changed from brass to the oil rubbed bronze Moen fixtures in our master bath. Though expensive to do the whole bath (double sink, shower & hand shower, misc fixtures), the fact we had Moen valves installed made it a fairly simple process. All of the products we bought fit well and function as expected.

We decided on this faucet because of the finish, style, and the fact it fit the existing valve. The installation was pretty straight forward, with the hardest part being getting the old brass trim ring off the drain without damaging it in order to install the new ring that comes with the faucet. This won't be a concern for those installing new or not wanting to save the old trim. The other thing to pay attention to is during installation of the cone shaped 'hubs' that cover the hot and cold valves, you don't have to crank them down as tight as possible. Use enough putty and only tighten them enough so they still support the handles. The thickness of the counter will determine how much/far you need to tighten. This will make more sense once you do the the install.

All-in-all, the install was easy, the finish is nice, the faucet works well, and we are happy. The brass trim kit we replaced was 8 years old and still looked great, so hopefully this will perform the same.
