Our main floor toilet has always had major sweating issues. The first step toward correction was to install antisweat valves in the water supply leading to all the toilets, not just that one. Antisweat valves add a little hot water to the line, and raise the water temp in toilets just enough to warm up tanks and bowls. This proved very effective for the upstairs toilets, but only slightly improved the main floor toilet's sweating problem.

After 20+ years, we decided to renovate the entire bathroom, and went with an American Standard Champion 4 toilet. It had excellent reviews, and we've had no problems with American Standard products in the past. For just a little bit more money, we decided to buy the toilet pieces separately and get an insulated tank as well. We couldn't be happier with that decision. Installation of both the tank and bowl was easy. The toilet flushes with a strong force, and eliminates everything with one quick flush. Most important, there is no more sweating. On the most humid days, a little bit of condensation may form, but nothing drips or even resembles what we used to go through.

If you live in a household that doesn't have air conditioning and your toilets sweat (and you're not in the market to replace a toilet), I'd consider installing antisweat valves first. That should take care of the problem. For more troublesome toilets like ours, I highly recommend adding a Champion 4 tank that has an aquaguard liner.
