I got this hose to upgrade my 1-1/2" vacuum system to 2". This is a great hose. Solid and sturdy. Neither end swivels like a normal vacuum hose, but that's OK since the vacuum head connector swivels. But the problem is it no one makes a 2" vacuum plate! You see, that's the piece that goes over the skimmer and is how the vacuum connects to the filtering system. You can buy an adapter from the 1-1/2" plate to the 2" hose, but then I'm still constricting back to 1-1/2" and 2" all the way through. So I'm returning it since a 75' 1-1/2" hose is half the price.
