Pansonic MC-GG773 Ultra-Pro Commercial Upright Review

This is the second Panasonic vacuum I've bought. The first was a household model with a dirt sensor. After about 15 years a plastic part that holds the handle locked in the upright position broke. The vacuum still worked, but was a pain to use. I liked that first Panasonic because it was so quiet compared to all the other vacuums in the store.

The MC-GG773 is a little louder, especially on bare floors, and it doesn't have a headlight, but it is more powerful and looks to have more metal parts instead of plastic. The most noticeable feature is the cord. It is very long and essentially just an extension cord as there is a normal plug close to the vacuum canister where you can simply unplug the cord and replace it with any extension cord. Kind of a good feature for anybody that has ever run over the cord with the vacuum cleaner and chewed it up.

Overall, I would recommend this vacuum cleaner. We've had this one for 4 years now and the only problem was a clog I had to take the vacuum cleaner apart to clear. It turned out to be one of my daughters barrettes that got caught and then everything backed up behind that. It was pretty easy to take the case apart and get to the clog, though.
