CORDOBOND® STANDARD RESIN AND ACTIVATOR DESCRIPTION: A two component, high strength resin and activator used to saturate glass cloth, mat or tape to provide high dimensional stability, impact and tensile strength. Cured material is abrasion resistant and unaffected by moderately high or sub-zero temperatures. Will adhere to most surfaces including steel, plastics, wood and ceramics. It is recommended for bonding fiberglass to metal, metal to metal and fiberglass to wood. APPLICATIONS: Can be used for armoring, reinforcing, bonding and laminating of manufactured components and products. Repairing leaks in storage tanks, vessels, exhaust lines, bulkheads, machinery, flanges,joints, condenser water boxes and piping. GENERAL PATCHING CONDITIONS: The adhesion depends upon the condition of the surface of the substrate with which it is in direct contact. Because of this, clean all surfaces thoroughly, removing all paint, grease, dirt, and surface contaminates that may impede the bond between the Standard Resin and the surface being worked on. Do not mix resin and activator until actually ready to use. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing.
