i clean houses for a living & have many clients whose houses have high ceilings, so this has been very useful to me. it also enables me to dust baseboards behind beds & other long furniture items that i can't/don't want to move. the only drawbacks are: 1. that the twisted metal shaft to which the head is attached tends to swivel inside the handle (the lock holds the extension in place but not the head) i alleviated this by pulling it out & wrapping it in duct tape; & 2. the metal tip becomes exposed after a while, which causes it to scrape the surfaces...another duct tape fix (w/ a bit of padding underneath). i only took off one star for these flaws, b/c EVERY duster i've ever used has them. perhaps one day, some manufacturer will fix these problems.
