Beware of buying from Grizzly Industrial. In my plan to equip my new dream workshop with $30,000.00 of their machinery I ran into the most awful example of a company - blind to the customers rights. With the first two shipments of machinery from Grizzly-I had a damaged $800 spindle sander and the wrong $1300 shaper. Becaused I insisted on the problems corrected , even though while they were being debated with Grizzly I did order 2 more machines-a $2100 gear drive metal cutoff saw, and their $1200 15 inch planer along with support supplies totaling about $4500, Grizzly haulted that new order and attempted to coerse me into accepting the 2hp shaper I did not want and had returned. To sum up my experience-Grizzly has now replaced the damaged stand for the spindle sander at no charge to me- and advises me when they receive the 2hp shaper and extension I will be refunded the full price paid for it. However according to their inventory supervisor-I am now banned for any future orders with Grizzly. It seems they could care less about a customer intent on spending quite a lot of tens of thousands of dollars with them unless the customer agrees to keep quiet and not report problems-and demand them corrected fairly and properly. Because of their rather peculiar and demanding position-my new dream workshop sits idle now for over one month-and Grizzly now refuses to take any phone calls from me-and considers the "matters concluded," via their last message to me. I sit astonished at the treatment I received by what I thought was a great company - according to the information one absorbs if they examine their catalog. Beware and be warned - you may though no fault of your own-fall under the wrath of Grizzly like I have.
