we purchased several broom heads from Amazon.com because it's hard to find just the broom head for our use. wanted to try this one for it's heft and length of bristles and mounted it vertically to a 4x4 beam in the barn for use as a head-scratching treat for our goats. our bucklings and buck LOVE it for scratching their head between the horns and for the sheer enjoyment of something to butt. our does like to walk along it for a good scratch where they cannot reach (on their backs). we highly recommend it, but for another use!!!
