These vials are so excellent because they are clean, sturdy and most importantly, they serve their purpose. I don't know everything about chemistry, but I believe I do know a lot. This borosilicate glass is inert and will properly store most of the ubiquitous and common organic lab chemicals and probably most inorganics safely for short periods. I chose this particular set since the screw tops were made of teflon, which is also relatively inert compared to the much more risky plastic and cork screw tops. No complaints on the shipping technique, though I may have done it differently.
