I was very excited to receive these test tubes as I was using them to make a spice rack for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. I opened the box and the test tubes were just packed on top of each other with only some packing paper around the box. Needless to say, one of the test tubes was shattered when I opened it. Terrible way to ship thin pieces of GLASS. Luckily, I only needed 9 of the tubes for my project. However, as soon as I tried to put a cork in the top, the rims shattered as well. The cork was hardly 1/10th inch into the tube when it broke. This happened twice before I gave up. I didn't want to deal with cleaning up any more broken glass!

They do look identical to the picture. These are EXTREMELY FRAGILE so keep that in mind for whatever you plan on doing with them.
